Thank you Mr. Smith!

Hello students and families of room 214!

Most of you already know me as Ms. Brady who taught you health and physical education last year. I left to have my son Grayson and now have the pleasure to teach this wonderful class for the remaining part of the school year.
From what I have heard and seen, Mr. Smith did a fantastic job being your teacher in my absence. I know he will be greatly missed by both staff and students and wish him all the best.

What is Inquiry?

Students in Room 214 have spent some time this year learning the value of asking questions. Inquiry is a model of learning that encourages natural questioning. When we ask questions about things that interest us, we are more engaged in our learning and in finding out the answers.

We completed a Mind Map that helps to understand what inquiry is all about. Here is a picture of what the students came up with.
